Erich Kössner intensively studied all the processes of ventilation and developed a special, long-lasting control element. High quality sensors constantly measure the temperature and humidity level and regulate either the supply of moisture or the activation of air circulation via an automatic control unit. Four ventilators maintain the humidor climate at the same level. The display keeps track of this, but also shows a reminder for checking the humidifier or for following up on ventilation requirements. This makes it possible to very simply control the climate in the humidor according to any individual requirements.The display light can be turned off at any time. The humidifier itself, a stainless steel cylinder, is filled with acrylic polymers. This granulate stores many times its volume of water and minimizes the necessity to refill. Refilling the water when needed, however, only takes a few steps. During the humidor’s development great attention was given to the coherence of the system. The solution here is due to elastic plastic seals – precisely attached by robotic arms – which give it the required density.
